Didn’t Open my one MDB File

I have been using a MDB file reluctantly on a PC with Access and wanted to open and run the MDB file on my MAC. Searched for an App to do this and purchased MDB Explorer. However it did not open and run the file. So this is not a substitute for Access on a PC, from my experience.
